I always fall in a trap of "If i do X than people will admire/see/love me"
but it's simply not true. it doesn't work this way. and never will.


I've been feeling lost for some time (quite long time), but when you found a way to connect dots things could become very clear. Even it's just for an instance - you could capture and fix some basics, general way of your road.





If you give yourself too much excuses and take not enough actions - you may end up quite the opposite of who you wanted to be.

when you understand the 'house rules"
things get suddenly clear in your inner eye


act instead of react is not easy.
"time traveling" through the day not really noticing anything is much easier.
thinking "okay, I didn't make it again, but will eventually" when you actually worked out 40-50% instead of 100%. not getting what you want is easy.
Aiming for what you want is the real challenge.
saying "I want it and i go for it - now!" is not easy, really going for it and really now is even less easy.
but it's the only way it could be gotten.


usually "don't look back" stuff works pretty well, but sometimes you just have to turn around to start actually doing something.


Cleaning out is not easy.
Mainly because «Your decisions are tainted by the emotional investments you accumulate, and the more you invest in something the harder it becomes to abandon it.»
But somehow I managed to throw away almost 1\3 things I own. And it feels so much better since all those things "I will use some day. Maybe." are not on my mental and physical (from time to tome) shoulders anymore.
Surprisingly, cleaning out digital space was much easier (which I thought would be much more painful). It's quite a pleasure to unsubscribe from the news you've been deleting even without reading for months(!), delete documents you'll probably will never use again and materials you've been avoiding to read for years.

Eustress means beneficial stress—either psychological, physical, or biochemical/radiological.
Eustress was originally explored in a stress model by Richard Lazarus, it is the positive cognitive response to stress that is healthy, or gives one a feeling of fulfilment or other positive feelings.
Eustress is not defined by the stressor type, but rather how one perceives that stressor (e.g. a negative threat versus a positive challenge). Eustress refers to a positive response one has to a stressor, which can depend on one's current feelings of control, desirability, location, and timing of the stressor. Potential indicators of eustress may include responding to a stressor with a sense of meaning, hope, or vigor. Eustress has also been positively correlated with life satisfaction and well-being.
Eustress occurs when the gap between what one has and what one wants is slightly pushed, but not overwhelmed. The goal is not too far out of reach but is still slightly more than one can handle. This fosters challenge and motivation since the goal is in sight.

Distress, the opposite of ustress. In medicine, distress is an aversive state in which a person is unable to adapt completely to stressors and their resulting stress and shows maladaptive behaviors. It can be evident in the presence of various phenomena, such as inappropriate social interaction (e.g., aggression, passivity, or withdrawal).



The firs thing I decided to do is to clear out some space.
We all have too much stuff around us, too much stuff in our wardrobes, too much stuff in our heads. Unneeded. And it took our attention, headspace, lingers in our thoughts.
I've been living in a place where I'm currently leaving for almost a year. And not counting the seasonal things like heavy winter coats and boots - the other things i left aside could easily be gone. If i could leave for a whole year without them probably means I could leave the rest of my days without them.
Even our daily necessities are actually not that of a necessary. As someone said "we flooded by tons of specific things instead of one universal".
You need free headspace for new ideas to come. You need physical space to let new things to happen around.


I feel that many important things are going on in my head these days. And that I need to output and keep track of them somehow.
Since I have almost nothing to lose in terms of social status, job or any widely valued "goods" - I could at least try to bend the reality to be a bit more bearable.
